Flagstaff ist eine Stadt im Coconino County im US-Bundesstaat Arizona mit rund 70.000 Einwohnern. Flagstaff ist ein beliebter Wintersportort und wird auch als „Tor zum Grand Canyon“ bezeichnet. Flagstaff liegt auf rund 2.100 m Höhe am Südwestrand des Colorado-Plateaus. Nördlich der Stadt erheben sich die San Francisco Peaks mit dem Humphreys Peak, der mit 3.852 m der höchste Punkt in Arizona ist.

Sedona liegt rund 50 km südlich von Flagstaff und ist über den Oak Creek Canyon auf der 89-ALT zu erreichen. Unmittelbar an der Stadtgrenze ragen die berühmten hohen und roten Felsentürme empor. Unendlich viele Trails sind durch diese wunderschönen Landschaften gezogen.

Flagstaff is a city in Coconino County in the U.S. state of Arizona with a population of about 70,000. Flagstaff is a popular winter sports resort and is also known as the "Gateway to the Grand Canyon". Flagstaff is located at an altitude of about 2,100 m on the southwestern edge of the Colorado Plateau. North of the city rise the San Francisco Peaks with Humphreys Peak, which at 3,852 m is the highest point in Arizona.

Sedona is located about 50 km south of Flagstaff and can be reached via Oak Creek Canyon on the 89-ALT. Immediately at the city limits the famous high and red rock towers rise. Endless trails are drawn through these beautiful landscapes.
