Page liegt im äußersten Norden von Arizona, an der Staatsgrenze zu Utah, mitten auf dem Colorado Plateau. Eine junge Stadt, gegründet 1957 im Zuge der Bauarbeiten zum Glen Canyon Damm, der den Colorado River zum Lake Powell staut. Kanab wurde 1870 als Mormonensiedlung gegründet.
Beide Ortschaften sind durch die US 89 verbunden. Links und rechts dieser Straße erstrecken sich nach Nordosten das Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, kurz GSENM, und nach Westen die Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness. Entlang der Cottonwood Canyon Road und der House Rock Valley Road findet sich die wohl schönste Natur der USA.
Suchen Sie Ihre Wanderung in der Landkarte und zoomen Sie bis auf Straßenebene zu Ihrem gewünschten Trailhead (Start der Wanderung). Die Position des Trailheads ist mit einem "Marker-Symbol" markiert, dessen Farbe den Schwierigkeitsgrad der Wanderung signalisiert:

Page is located in far northern Arizona, on the state border with Utah, in the middle of the Colorado Plateau. A young town, founded in 1957 during construction of Glen Canyon Dam, which dams the Colorado River to Lake Powell. Kanab was founded in 1870 as a Mormon settlement.
Both towns are connected by US 89. To the left and right of this road, the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, GSENM for short, extends to the northeast and the Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness to the west. Along Cottonwood Canyon Road and House Rock Valley Road you will find the most beautiful nature in the USA.
