Moab | Green River | Monticello | Blanding [UT]
Moab liegt am Colorado River in einer Höhe von 1227 m (4.025 feet) über dem Meeresspiegel auf dem Colorado Plateau an der US 191. Die Stadt ist von großen Nationalparks umgeben. Der Arches National Park, der Canyonlands National Park mit seinen Districten Needles, Maze und Island in the Sky, bieten dem Wanderer wunderschöne Steinbögen (Arches) und tiefe Canyons. Die Sand Flats Recreation Area und der Dead Horse Point Statepark, aber auch nahezu alle Gebiete außerhalb dieser Parks sind für ein außergewöhnliches Naturerlebnis wie geschaffen.
Suchen Sie Ihre Wanderung in der Landkarte und zoomen Sie bis auf Straßenebene zu Ihrem gewünschten Trailhead (Start der Wanderung). Die Position des Trailheads ist mit einem "Marker-Symbol" markiert, dessen Farbe den Schwierigkeitsgrad der Wanderung signalisiert:

Moab is located on the Colorado River at an elevation of 4,025 feet (1227 m) above sea level on the Colorado Plateau on US 191. The city is surrounded by large national parks. Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park with its Needles, Maze and Island in the Sky districts, offer hikers beautiful stone arches (Arches) and deep canyons. The Sand Flats Recreation Area and Dead Horse Point State Park, as well as nearly all areas outside these parks, are made for an extraordinary nature experience.
